My Art Inspiration

I though I would share some of my acquired art that I have collected and received as gifts throughout the years. They inspire me throughout my days. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

The above picture is of an original oil painting by William Kitchell, the grandson of  the American artist Hudson Mindell Kitchell. My maternal grandmother gave this to me one Christmas . William was her brother. This painting was the inspiration for my office.

The above oil painting of an English cottage I acquired last year at a church bazaar.

The above picture is an oil on canvas. The artist signature reads W. Hodges. Haven't found anything on the internet about the artist.

The above photo is an oil painting by a lady that lived in South Florida. I acquired this at Goodwill. I googled the artists name and found she was deceased and lived in Fort Lauderdale. She had living children. I guess they didn't like the painting and donated it to charity.

The above oil painting is by the Italian artist R. Vity.

This oil painting on canvas I acquired 20 years ago in Los Angeles.

What art do you own that inspires you?
